Recently uploaded to YouTube, this TV appearance from 1995 is probably new to most of us.

Part of the Only Everything promotion, Juliana performs My Darling acoustically with Lisa Mednick on accordion and then there's a brief interview with the hosts Regis & Kathie.

Thanks to Carlos Lopez for spotting this, and to Simon Tibbs for the upload.

Here's a couple of 1993 TV interviews that have appeared on YouTube in recent weeks, both of which I don't think I've seen before.

There's Gary Crowley giving it a big British "JuliARNER" pronounciation in his London interview (which also has an acoustic version of My Sister), and a Japanese TV interview from earlier in the year previewing Become What You Are. update: sadly it looks like the latter video has been removed from YouTube

Thanks to Carlos for the info.

Uploaded to YouTube this week.

Broadcast on Tonight Live in Australia, 25 years ago.

Best wishes at this festive time of year to all readers of this site. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, sent a link or written a message.

And, because we can, let's just remind ourselves that 16 years ago, ABC aired a Christmas episode of My So-Called Life which featured Juliana. Those in the US can watch the whole episode officially on Hulu. (Unofficially it's on YouTube too)

Juliana appeared at various points in the show as an angelic homeless girl, also performing Make It Home, which she wrote specifically for the show, later saying:

"I utilized part of the melody of “Silent Night” — in the verses, over some sad/pretty chords — and a piece of “O Come All Ye Faithful” in the bridge, and it worked like a charm (if I do say so myself). Just the right combination of pathos and hope. The TV people liked it a lot."

And so did we, Juliana.

A solo acoustic tv appearance dating way back to early 1993 (post Hey Babe and pre Become What You Are) can now be viewed on JBTV Online, featuring a snippet of Start Choppin (Dinosaur Jr), plus full versions of He’d Be A Diamond*(The Bevis Frond), My Sister, Ugly, It’s A Shame About Ray(The Lemonheads)* and Supermodel.

A good quality video, great performance and wonderful nostalgia.

Thanks to Andrew for spotting and sharing this.

UPDATE August 2010 - The videos appear to have been removed from JBTV. Hopefully they will be back.

UPDATE Mar 5, 2012 - As JBTV's Robert Shell points out in the comments they are now back online.

Performing This Lonely Love on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Broadcast 25 August 2008. Juliana on USA network TV. Rejoice.
