The video for “Can’t Stand Losing You”, from Juliana Hatfield Sings The Police, was released on 8 January 2020, ahead of a US tour. Directed and edited by Rachel Lichtman, and is fantastic. It features Juliana on bass, guitar and drums in a homage to the original Sumner, Summers, and Copeland video.
Juliana, in an interview with Justin Chadwick for Albumism on 11 November 2019:
What this song is saying is pretty morbid, but it’s so catchy and bouncy that if you’re not paying attention, you might miss the self-annihilation part.
